Proposed Projects

The Uptown District LPC is seeking proposals for potential projects to be included in the Uptown District Strategic Investment Plan! The submission of project proposals is open to the public, and projects will be selected based on the evaluation criteria defined within the open call document. Even if your project was included in the City’s Uptown District NY Forward application, you must resubmit your project through this Open Call to be considered for NY Forward funding. Forms may be completed online, downloaded as a fillable PDF, or printed and completed as a hard copy. Electronic or typed submissions are preferred for accuracy. Hard copy written applications must be clearly legible and include all required attachments and high-resolution images. Only one version of the form needs to be submitted.

Please note that the inclusion of a project in the SIP does not guarantee funding through the Uptown District NY Forward program. New York State agencies and the Governor will evaluate and score all projects within the SIP and make the final determination on which project receive NY Forward funding.

Submit your completed application (and any supplemental materials) electronically, by mail, or in person. Electronic and in person applications are due by October 9, 2026 at 4 PM, and mailed submissions must be postmarked no later than October 9, 2026.
